Valentines Hair Bows Day 1

Pink Fluff Headband Tutorial

Supplies Needed:
Black and White Damask Grosgrain Ribbon (1 1/2 inch width x 24 inches long)
Black Grosgrain Ribbon (3/4 inch width)
Black Headband (this came from Hobby Lobby)
Pink Marabou Fluff
Hot Glue Gun
3 Small Rhinestones
Straight Pin
Needle and Thread
Wood burner (optional)

Directions:
Step 1: Cut the damask ribbon at a diagonal on the ends.  Use the wood burner tool to secure the ends and prevent fraying.

Step 2: Fold the ribbon twice making two loops.  Open the loops so they are next to each other.

Step 3: Use your needle and thread to sew up the center of the looped ribbon.

Step 4: Pull the thread tight and pinch the center.

Step 5: Wrap the thread around the bow, pull tight, and tie a knot to secure.

Step 6: Glue the small black ribbon to the bottom of the bow.  Wrap it around to hide the thread and glue it on the bottom.

Step 7: Glue the pink fluff to the headband.  I did this on the side.

Step 8: Glue the finished bow on top of the pink fluff.

Step 9: Glue the three small rhinestones to the small black ribbon for a cute finishing touch!

Enjoy your headband!  This could be altered with any colors to wear anytime!
